5 New Feature Updates – 2022

After gathering feedbacks from our beloved customers, we are happy to announce that there are new features for September 2022: Transfer Forms Data, Date Format Condition, Unique Request Number, Resend All Pending Requests, and Approval Authentication. Let’s take a look!

1. Transfer Forms Data

When an employee leaves your company, all data of leaving employees must be migrated to a new account.

Understanding this concern, we’re happy to introduce the most wanted feature: Transfer Forms Data.

It allows you to transfer the Google Forms ownerships and configurations, requests from one user to another. No need to create a new form; this feature saves you time and effort.

Let’s take a look at how to Transfer Forms Data.

Step 1: Click on the Transfer Forms Data button on the “Manage Forms” page.

Step 2: Enter the email address of the new user. Then click on Transfer All Forms Data.

Step 3: Confirm the transfer by clicking on Yes, transfer now.

Step 4: Go to your current email inbox to find the verification code. Then enter it in the popup, and click on Verify Now.

Step 5: The data has been transferred successfully. Now go to the new user account’s dashboard, and you will see a popup like this.

Step 6: Go to the add-on configuration page to re-save it. Now it’s done.

2. Date Format Condition

You can now also set up conditional settings based on date. There are two options including “After x day(s)” & “Before x day(s)”. You can enter the number of days before or after the date field value.

For more details on setting conditions, please follow this guide.

3. Unique Request Number

This feature allows you to Reset any Request Number to 1 for new forms created from September 18th, 2022.

When you create new forms, the add-on will show a notification below:

If you click “No”, the screen will show “The request numbers will be created mutually with previous forms” like this:

This option can be turned on and off, and you can also reuse Request Number or Unique Request Number.

4. Resend All Request Numbers

Once your quota has run out, all requests after that will be “pending.” Therefore, you must resend all the pending requests after the quota is refreshed. Understanding the inconvenience, we’re introducing the Resend All Pending Requests feature. Here is how to do it:

Step 1: Go to the Manage Forms page, then select a form.

Step 2: Click on the Resend All Pending Requests button to resend them all.

5. Approval Link Authentication

This option requires the recipients to sign in with Google accounts to Accept, Reject, or Comment on a request via email.
