In recent days, PerformFlow has continuously received abnormally 1-star reviews on the Google Workspace Marketplace Listing. That’s why we decided to publish this post to explain the phenomenon of fake review spam for our beloved users. Please read this post carefully to understand the case.
1. Abnormal fake review spam activity
It can be said that since PerformFlow launched to the market, we have received countless good reviews about the product. Most recently, in the period of 2021 – 2022, we also received quite a few good reviews and very few reviews reported problems with the product. Specifically, we had a respective total of 13 reviews in 2021 and 1 review in 2022.
However, starting from December 11, 2023 until now, we have received 8 one-star reviews (including those that was deleted by Google) and the number has increased abnormally over the past few days. To make a comparison, in less than 2 weeks, the number of 1-star reviews we received is higher than total of reviews in 2022 and nearly equal to 62% of total reviews we had in 2021.
We do not think this is an issue that emerged from our side as our customers do not have similar feedback and the abnormal increase in the number of fake reviews is clearly an attack and does not contribute any value to the product. A majority of our users comes from US & Europe and it’s getting near New Year holidays so logically we should have fewer users installing, resulting in fewer reviews but it’s clearly not the case here.

2. Evidences for the quality of our product & support
Most of the fake reviews focus on our poor customer support and failure to provide refunds when necessary, two things that have the biggest impact on customer trust in our product and human resources. Therefore, we have cited some evidence to refute these fake reviews and not lose the customer’s trust in our product during the past time.
- Here are some genuine satisfied feedback that customers give to our support team:
- With regard to refund-related issues, we have a clear refund policy officially posted on our website and will assist customers in resolving refund-related issues based entirely on the given policy.
Even if customers are no longer interested after a short period of use and need our refund, we are still willing to support refunds upon request, then ask to receive genuine feedback and reflect upon our product to improve for a better experience.
Or even if the error comes from the customer when they have a payment problem and need a refund to make the payment again, we are still ready to support.
Our goal is to satisfy all of our customers to provide the best product experience, and if you are a PerformFlow customer, we believe that more than anyone else, you will recognize our support, not only in email responses and refunds but also through other support actions that we don’t need to explain too much.
3. Intentional action originating from one side
Be observant to notice that the feedback emails have almost the same last names as can be seen in the following image. This proves that these statements, from an individual or a group, are completely intentional in defaming PerformFlow’s reputation.
We know that those fake reviews have recently affected the trust of our customers in continuing to experience our product, that’s why we decided to speak up so that you all can rest assured to use our product without a doubt on our reputation.
4. Try our product & support before making any judgements
If you’re a new user, please stay wise when selecting information by experiencing our product first and drawing your own conclusions later. Don’t make any judgements based on those misleading fake reviews before using the product.
