We are proudly announcing our commitment to security and user experience. On Thursday, September 19, PerformFlow deployed an update after gaining CASA Security Verification Tier 2, which needs your immediate action to maintain seamless service.
1. What is CASA?
PerformFlow is now CASA Tier 2 verified. CASA, which stands for Cross-App Security Assessment, is a verification process that Google requires. It is designed to evaluate and ensure that third-party apps and add-ons like PerformFlow meet Google’s security requirements.
PerformFlow has undergone and passed a complete assessment conducted by TAC Security – one of Google-authorized labs, to get the Tier 2 verification. It grants us specific permissions to access and interact with Google Drive, which is crucial for our document generation feature.
On September 12, TAC Security finished their assessment and sent the Letter of Approval to Google.
And finally, Google approved our verification request on September 16.
2. What You Need to Do
Step 1: Open the add-on from any form, and a popup will appear.
Step 2: Click OK and allow all the permissions.
Step 3: Return to the add-on configuration and click the “Save” button.
The steps above need to be done once for one form and there is no need to reauthorize again next time you use the addon. If you have accepted the permissions, the popup will not reappear.
