PerformFlow has introduced a seamless process to cancel pending requests via email notifications. If you need to cancel a request before it’s been approved by everyone, you can now do so by simply clicking the “Cancel” button within the notification email. Here’s how you can use this feature:
Step 1: When you receive the notification email, take a look at the bottom of the form response table to find the “Cancel” button.
Step 2: Simply click “Cancel” if you wish to cancel the request. The status of the request will automatically change to “Canceled”. Also, the add-on will update the response sheet and send out the final email accordingly.
Keep in mind, though, that if every recipient has already given their approval, the request cannot be canceled.
2. New Update #2: File Attachment Links in Emails:
Sending files along with your emails just got simpler. Now, when you use PerformFlow to send request emails, you can include direct links to attached files in the notification and final emails. This is super handy when your team members or respondents need to share PDFs, Docs, or Sheets alongside their form submissions.
How to make the most of this feature:
Step 1: Open your form where you want to use the attachment link.
Step 2: Add a new question that lets respondents upload files (look for “File Upload“)
Step 3: Once you’ve set up the form, save your add-on configuration changes.
With these simple steps, the attachment link will be included in both the notification and final emails. This way, everyone can easily access the files that are relevant to the form submission.
