The Problem
If you’re signed into more than one Google account in the same Chrome browser, Google Workspace add-ons like PerformFlow will run using your default (top) account — not necessarily the account you actually use with the add-on.
If your PerformFlow account isn’t the top account in your browser, the add-on may fail to load, show errors, or behave unexpectedly.
The Fix: Use a Separate Chrome Profile
The most reliable fix is to create a dedicated Chrome profile signed into the Google account you use for PerformFlow. This keeps that account isolated from your other Google logins, so the add-on always has the right account active.
Quick steps:
- In Chrome, click your profile icon (top right) → Add → Add Profile.
- Sign in with the Google account you use for PerformFlow.
- Open Sheets/Docs/Gmail from within that new profile and launch the add-on as usual.
Why This Happens
Google Workspace add-ons are tied to whichever account Chrome treats as active/default for Google services in that browser window, not the account open in the current tab. Having multiple accounts signed in at once can cause the add-on to reference the wrong one.
